What if…

This research project is inspired by sensorial abilities found in certain animals – mostly weak electric fish. The photo essay «Interspecies» by Susanna Hertrich plays with the notion of humans to have animal senses. The image below shows a face with barbels known from various species of fish (framed c-print, 60 x 90 cm). Currently on show at «Human Upgrade» hosted by Schader-Stiftung gallery, Darmstadt, Germany through March 5, 2017 .
